We started our terra cotta line with the tear drop bird house.
The first example was quite small and did not have glaze or the signature maple leaf.
Over time we have perfected the design and the result is a decorative house which
is impervious to weather.
As a matter fo fact we leave them out all year long and they easily withstand our 30° F. winter tempratures.
To clean these houses all you need to do is make a little hook from a coat hanger and just pull the twigs out.
If you need we can include a cleaner wire at no cost.
These houses can be cleaned and disinfected with a 9 parts water to 1 parts bleach solution with no damage.
Wear gloves to protect your skin.
Hang the bird houses in a realitivily secluded spot to give the birds privacy.
Just one word of caution, and this goes for any bird house, be careful looking into the entrance hole.
You could startle the inhabitant and get a bird in the eye !
And as we like to say, "round houses for round nests !"
