Still working on the new site.
We are waist deep in the remake of the new site.
It wouldn’t be bad if the photos were usable but according to our new monitor the old photos are very bad. But the new ones are quite good, but they are not all finished.
Trouble is we do not have good examples of all the chimes and we decided to change some of them mid stream so they will not be ready until sometime next week. Mean while we are working on the parts of the site that can be worked on with out the photos.
Here is a screen shot of the new template. This would be the index or main page. Obviously more info will be inserted.
The new design has better navigation and no broken links. ( we hope )
Additionally we will be using the same basic layout for the blog. The cart is already updated.
We have also added a captcha device for the contact forms. These can be a pain but with all the junk mail we are getting it is a necessary evil.
Hopefully we will be finished with this soon so we can get back to the business of wild birds instead of how the site is coming along.
